Q: What is the MakeAShidduch Foundation?
The MakeAShidduch Foundation is a division of The Simcha Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to facilitate shidduchim in a dignified manner throughout the shomer Shabbos community, offering innovative methods and thought-provoking programs.

Q: What was the inspiration behind the establishment of the MakeAShidduch Foundation?
After opening their home up to singles of all ages, and realizing their plight, Jeff and Karen Cohn, of Baltimore, decided to launch this ambitious organization. Their goal was to create innovative programs and services which would put single shomer Shabbos men and women on the radar screen of the greater shomer Shabbos community around the world, in helping them meet their beshert .

Q: What services are included in the MakeAShidduch Foundation network?
The Shadchan® Magazine, ShidduchVision, Shidduch University, Strike-A-Match, and events, such as Shabbatonim, are part of the foundation's network of services.

Q: Does it cost money to join the MakeAShidduch Foundation?
No, membership is not required. The Shadchan® Magazine is distributed free of charge, and Strike-A-Match program participation is free, thanks to volunteer hosts. There are nominal fees, however, for participating in ShidduchVision, and Shidduch University's various workshops and seminars, as well as special events, such as Shabbatonim. However, MakeAShidduch Foundation can only continue its important mission with financial support from generous donors like you.

Q: Does a single have to live in a certain geographical area to participate in its programs?
No. Singles throughout the world can take advantage of its services.

Q: Does a single have to be within a certain age group to participate in its programs?
Yes, between the ages of 18 and 119!
